Patty Love brings her vast contract and real estate development expertise to LEGACY Development where she serves as the Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. Patty joined LEGACY Development in 2013, relocating to open the international operations of the Virgin Islands office and pursuing development opportunities, among other things. Immediately prior to joining LEGACY, Patty served as the Director of Procurement & Contracts for Western State Colorado University where she oversaw contracts and leases for the University system including telecommunications leases and small business incubator office leases.
Prior to moving to Colorado, Patty worked for the Katz Law Firm in Kansas City where she focused on real estate development matters, including sales and acquisitions, public financing, ground leases, and joint venture agreements. In addition, she served as a subcontractor for Sprint-Nextel, handling their underground conduit leases. Patty graduated in December, 1998 from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio with a BA in Psychology and received her JD/MBA in December, 2003 from the University of Kansas. Prior to law school, she worked for Katz Law Firm and handled lease abstractions for The Gap’s corporate offices in San Francisco.
