As managing partner of LEGACY Asset Management, Chuck brings 25 years of high-level asset management service in both the public and private sector to the team. He works closely with leasing and current tenants to analyze tenant strengths and weaknesses and the overall health of the commercial property. Chuck understands each tenant’s business and what drives leasing efforts and retention, and offers long-term strategies that maximize profits. He provides asset owners with three distinct levels of service applied in flexible combinations: Facility Management, Property Management, and Asset Management. This high-level service helps set LEGACY Development apart in its approach to asset management.
Before joining LEGACY, Chuck owned CK Real Estate Services providing asset management, leasing, brokerage and development services for institutional and regional corporations. As VP Asset Management for RED Development, VP Regional Manager for Developers Diversified Realty, and GM for Copaken, White & Blitt, he directed asset management, marketing, and leasing initiatives for real estate portfolios of lifestyle centers, enclosed regional and super regional malls, and power centers ranging from three to five million square feet across multiple states. Chuck has served as the Vice President of the State of Kansas’ National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. Designated a Certified Shopping Center Manager and Certified Retail Property Executive through the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Chuck serves on the ICSC faculty at the John T Riordan School for Professional Development.
